La Ligue nationale de hockey a annoncé aujourd'hui le calendrier pré-saison composite 2023-24, un programme de 15 jours et 111 matchs disputés dans 44 sites de la LNH et sites neutres en Amérique du Nord et en Australie, du 23 septembre au 7 octobre.
La route vers la Coupe Stanley 2024 commence par une série historique de deux matchs à travers l'océan Pacifique, lorsque les Arizona Coyotes et les Los Angeles Kings s'affrontent en Australie pour la NHL Global Series™ 2023 - Melbourne. La série de deux matchs entre les Coyotes et les Kings -- les tout premiers matchs de la LNH dans l'hémisphère sud -- sera disputée le samedi 23 septembre et le dimanche 24 septembre à la Rod Laver Arena.
Les deux matchs, qui se dérouleront à Melbourne, 17 heures avant le fuseau horaire du Pacifique, débuteront à 14 heures, heure locale. Cela signifie qu'ils se dérouleront à 21 heures, heure du Pacifique, le vendredi 22 septembre et le samedi 23 septembre.
Deux matchs de présaison célébreront les communautés gagnantes de Kraft Hockeyville pour 2022 (Sydney, N.-É.) et 2023 (West Lorne, Ont.). Les Sabres de Buffalo et les Maple Leafs de Toronto s'affronteront le mercredi 27 septembre au Joe Thornton Community Centre de St. Thomas, en Ontario, et les Panthers de la Floride et les Sénateurs d'Ottawa se rencontreront le dimanche 1er octobre au Centre 200 de Sydney.
